“I remember the first time I went to Amy’s bootcamp class in Sutton. I was so over weight that I couldn’t finish the workout. I was so upset that I couldn’t look at anyone. Amy smiled at me and gave me some encouraging words about trying my best. The next class I paid for the month. She smiled at me again and told me now I have to keep coming. Amy always seems to know when to push me and when to slow me down.

”I’ve always considered myself inspired by fitness. I’ve been to countless boot camps, classes and gyms and I have a pretty great home gym too. However, after an almost 2 year hiatus from working out and acquiring well deserved 30# weight gain, I started to “feel age”. I was in pain, uncomfortable , turning to wine nightly to help sleep (which only made it worse) and just plain sad about my current state of well being. I knew I needed to do something. But the thought of going to any of the classes or places I’d been before felt terrifying. Trying to figure it out myself in my home gym felt a lot like a waste of time. I didn’t know where to even start. I knew I needed someone to guide me, take their time with me, care and motivate me. Basically, someone to hold my hand while simultaneously kicking my a$$!
